L'Hirondelle du Periret is a holiday home designed for reuniting with family and friends.

In Provence Occitane, on the heights of Saint Julien de Peyrolas in the north of Gard, the house is ideally located between the Ardèche gorges and the Cèze valley. The list of remarkable sites in the region is quite long; the descent of the Gorges, the Chauvet cave, the Aven d'Orgnac, the villages of the Cèze valley, La Roque sur Cèze, Goudargues and Montclus, Aiguèze, a medieval village perched above the Ardèche gorges, Saint Martin d'Ardèche and its beaches along the river, Barjac, a renaissance village, the remarkable villages on the other bank of the Rhône; Grignan, Valreas, La Garde Adhémar, Saint Restitut, Saint Paul Trois Chateaux and its truffle market from December to February and many other preserved places.

In the region there are many water parks for thrill seekers, the famous Saint Julien treetop adventure park accessible to adults and children, the Ardèche Gorges animal park, the crocodile farm, the Fumades thermal baths, and hiking and cycling trails starting from the house.

The Gard Rhodanien region is full of wine estates and passionate winemakers. Several estates and cooperatives open their doors to you. The Domaine de la Catherinette in Laval Saint Roman (4km) welcomes you to share this passion firsthand. The cooperative wineries of Saint Julien de Peyrolas and Saint Paulet de Caisson also welcome you during your stay.

It is also in this region that olive oil producers develop their expertise; the Magnanerie in Orgnac-l'Aven, which has won several awards in international competitions for its green oil, producers in neighboring villages, and the Emile Noël oil mill in Pont Saint Esprit. Another local product, the black truffle, is available from the end of December to the end of February.

A little further Uzès, Anduze, the Pont du Gard, Mont Ventoux and access to the motorway 20 minutes away for Orange Avignon, Nîmes, the Alpilles, Arles in an hour's drive or less and a little further Marseille, the Calanques les Saintes Marie de la Mer, Montpelier and Sète.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and benefits from an exceptional environment. Surrounding the house are a large wooded plot, a heated swimming pool, vast terraces, a pergola, and a constantly changing view of Mont Ventoux, the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Rhône Valley, and the Pre-Alps.

In the village you will find everything you need for your stay: bakery, U-tile supermarket, local grocery store. Nearby you will find many other shops; butcher and supermarkets.
